Alison Britton-Paterson, born in 1974 is a British abstract artist working in mixed media. Alison is represented across the UK & has collectors globally.
Her works are richly layered using paint, charcoal, oil pastels & graphite. Her work often represents our concealed selves, the aspects we either willingly or unwillingly show & what we keep hidden beneath the surface, sometimes fracturing & creating an awkward balance between the concealed and the exposed.
Alison’s current series of work is an exploration into form, space & line, removing all figurative aspects to find simplicity in the abstract.
